Construction on the 19th Street and NW Cascade Ave project resumed on Monday, March 3, 2025. Contractors will work along the shoulders of 19th Street NW, which includes constructing retaining walls and relocating utilities. Impacts to traffic will include single-lane closure (with detour) and one-way traffic patterns through the project site, and will likely remain in place for the duration of the project, which is anticipated to continue until the end of June.
This road improvement project, led by the City of East Wenatchee, started last August and involves widening the roadways, installing bicycle lanes and sidewalks, and creating a new stormwater facility.
