Zacher Processing Center is where the Douglas County Solid Waste Department processes all recycling collected throughout the county. The recycling center is available as a drop-off location to all Douglas County residents but has limited collection hours each week. 

The following are accepted at this location:

• Aluminum & Tin Cans
• Appliances
• Batteries (All kinds except Tesla)
• Cardboard
• Electronics
• Fluorescent Light Bulbs
• Medical Sharps
• Paint
• Paper & Clean Paper Food Containers
• Plastics PETE #1 & HDPE #2
• Tires (Passenger vehicle tires only)
