Original Press Release 07-27-2025
On 7/27/2025 at approximately 10:21 PM, Douglas County Deputies were dispatched to a report of a possible shooting involving two vehicles. When deputies arrived at the scene they found the vehicles involved were gone. Deputies later learned an individual with a non life threatening gunshot wound to the leg had gone to the hospital. This incident appears to be isolated and the investigation is ongoing. We have no indication there is any immediate public risk.
