NW Cascade Ave
NW Cascade Ave will be closed from Goldcrest St, north to 35th St NW, beginning at 6 a.m. on July 8, 2021 and running continuously through 7 p.m. on July 8, 2021. Detours are available and will be signed accordingly. This closure is to allow the safe re-paving and widening of NW Cascade Ave for DCFD 2’s new fire station. N. Baker Ave
The southbound lane of N. Baker Ave, between Cascade Elementary and the Wenatchee Reclamation District canal, will be closed to traffic on Saturday, June 5, 2021, from 7 a.m to 7 p.m. Traffic will be allowed to pass with single-lane, flagger controlled operations after minor delays. The purpose of the closure is to allow a safe connection of new water mains for the Baker Estates Subdivision. The work will be done on a Saturday to mitigate possible impacts to the adjacent elementary school. S. Nile Ave
S. Nile Ave, from 6th St SE to 8th St SE, will be closed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, from 6 a.m., Wednesday April 14, 2021, to 7 pm, Friday, May 28, 2021. A signed detour is available per the attached plan. The closure is needed by Jessup Homes for their Mountain Springs Phase 3 subdivision. This section of S Nevada Ave is closed to all traffic EXCEPT local access.
This closure will be removed, as scheduled, by the close of business on Friday, May 28, 2021. It will be reactivated at 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 until 7 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021. The purpose of the additional closure is to safely adjust the utilities to grade and install roadway striping. All other information remains the same.
